A slow walk through a museum wing

Museums are strange because they ask you to stand still in front of motion. A ship in a bottle. A dress behind glass. A bowl with a crack repaired in gold.

This file is MDX, which means I can mix normal writing with simple formatting easily. For now I am treating it like markdown with room to grow.

When I got home, I realized the objects I liked best were the ones that showed a human decision: save this, stitch that, pass it down.
